The COSP™ Program
The COSP™ is an international evidence-based group training program that is dedicated to helping caregivers reflect upon their child's developmental and attachment needs and to foster a secure and healthy parent-child relationship.

The program translates decades of developmental research and clinical insights into straightforward and accessible protocols for use with families across the globe, and has been translated into 14 languages since it's inception in 2010.

Fifty years of research shows that securely attached children are able to:

Enjoy more happiness with their parents
Feel less anger at their parents
Turn to their parents for help when in trouble
Get along better with friends
Have better relationships with brothers and sisters
Have higher self-esteem
Trust people they love
Know how to be kind to those around them

Training Objectives
Using the COSP™ model developed by the Circle of Security originators, this training program aims to work with parents and care-givers to help them:

Understand their child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional cues and needs
Support their child’s ability to successfully manage emotions, such as anger, fear, sadness and excitement
Enhance the development of their child's self esteem
Develop their confidence in handling a range of parenting issues
Experience more rewarding parent-child interactions
Develop a calmer and more connected home environment

Over the course of these sessions, caregivers will work through a number of videos and case studies, and will be provided with handouts and practical tools that can be used both inside and outside of sessions.

Fees

Each session is $90. Partners are welcome to join free of charge.

Payment is due in full prior to commencing the course. You may also be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $39.30 for each group session if you obtain a group mental health care plan, totalling $304 for the course.
