PARENTS
Parent counselling provides a space for mothers, fathers and couples to reflect upon their parenting style, gain a better understanding of their child, build a strong bond and connection, and develop the confidence and skills to implement appropriate and effective parenting strategies.
Depending on the circumstances, parents may attend sessions alone, with a partner, or alongside their child.
Parents can also participate in group sessions with the Circle of Security® Parenting™ program, which is dedicated to supporting caregivers to build secure relationships with their children. The program is based on decades of research, which has found an association between secure caregiver-child attachment and enhanced self-worth, compassion and emotional regulation in children. Register your interest to join a COSP™ training workshop here.
